So I was currently in Texas visiting my grandparents. They live in the Fort Worth area. I got into love field, which is an airport in Dallas. I fly southwest because the rates are generally cheaper and the experience of going to Love Field is always more pleasant. It’s a smaller airport so getting in and out of there is generally hassle free.
I get my rental car and head towards my grandparents house. On my way a buddy of mine calls me and says he saw on facebook I was visiting and that I should look him up. I still had time so i decide to drop in. He lives in the Keller area which is not far from Dallas. Well he shows me these brand new mountain bikes. Two of them! He says he knows a course where we can try them out.
So we are riding these bikes and the first thing that happens, can you guess? I jump a ramp fall off and land right on my nose. Broken! I go to the hospital and they give me the good news. Meanwhile my grandparents come to visit me and I am trying to explain the story. I joke about being disfigured and my grandma says just get a nose job. We all start laughing except for grandma. Shes dead serious. “Grandma,” I say, “I’m not a model.” She tells me its called rhinoplasty. However, she was unsure if there were any in the area.
Well I find this site online. texasrhinoplastyfinder.com I see the top recommended Doctor. The closest was right in Southlake which was a few miles from where I was. I call up the Doc and explain the situation. I have to say it was one of the best experiences of my life. The receptionist treated me like royalty. I sat in a leather chair and they brought we water and made sure I was comfortable.
The Doctor was kind and greeted me with a smile and handshake. I explained my tale of woe and he laughed heartily. I could tell he had heard this story before. “Rhinoplasty is not just for models. You could have a deviated septum, birth condition, many things call for this surgery. Plus, if you still want a nose like Elizabeth Hurley I’m sure I can help you.” We both laughed.
